- The journey to where I am today has been an interesting one - including living in a multitude of places, theater, and spin classes...yes, spin classes! I was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, but at the age of 3 was whisked off to Texas...yeehaw! I lived in and around Ft. Worth, then my family re-located to a small town called Granbury for my high school years. Granbury is known for it's small town feel, the famous Granbury Opera House and the 4th of July festival on the square. So, I was born and bread in the south, but soon became a big city girl. After graduating from Baylor - I moved to New York City to pursue acting. Soon after moving to NYC, I found myself in the fitness business where I began to step up the ladder of success. I decided to combine all of my passions - singing, acting and helping people, into one and developed a crazy kind of spin class dubbed "spinertainment." I found myself teaching celebrities and music execs, and people would line up an hour before class to partake in the fun. One thing led to another, and soon I was in Nashville hooked up with some of the best writers and some wonderful people in town. I try to live life by a quote from Mary Lou Retton, "'As simple as it sounds, we all must try to be the best person we can: by making the best choices, by making the most of the talents we've been given.'" I'm known around town for my spunk, and I feel that spirit is rooted in the belief that no matter how many people I'm performing for - if I touch just 1 person in the audience - my job has been done.
